That simplicity is real, but it is worth confirming for yourself rather than inheriting it secondhand, since recording rules are exactly the kind of detail a compliance review checks first.

Under the state's electronic surveillance law, a party to a conversation may record it without the other side's permission. The Louisiana clock

Louisiana is Central time statewide and observes daylight saving. The federal calling window of 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the consumer's local time therefore runs 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Eastern. An Eastern desk gets an extra hour at the end of the evening compared with its home state, and loses an hour at the start of the morning.
