WHOLESALE ACCESS

Wholesale accounts

For buyers with their own systems, their own volume, and their own opinion about every call.

Most buyers want a workspace. Some buyers already have one of their own, and what they want from a marketplace is inventory and an API. That is what a wholesale account is for.

What a wholesale account changes

  • Assigned feeds. A wholesale buyer receives the specific feeds a Callmart administrator assigns, rather than browsing a public catalog.
  • Wholesale pricing. Approved wholesale buyers are placed on a wholesale price book where one exists for a campaign.
  • Billing on terms. Wholesale accounts can be billed on terms rather than prepaying into a wallet.
  • Buyer ping. Callmart can ask your own system, before every single call, whether you want it.

None of this is self-served. Wholesale status is set per account by Callmart after an application and a conversation. If you are a solo agent or a small agency, a standard buyer account is almost certainly the right thing and is available immediately.

The ping is the important part

Standard buying is a set of rules you configure in advance: campaigns, buffers, daily limits, availability. Those rules are static between the moments you change them.

A ping moves the decision to the moment of the call. Before Callmart delivers a call to you, it sends an HTTP request to an endpoint you run, with the caller's number and state, and waits for your answer. You accept or you decline, per call, based on whatever your own system knows: capacity right now, who is logged in, whether you have seen this caller before, how your day is going against budget.

You have four seconds to decide, and the whole exchange sits inside a thirty second reservation. If your endpoint is slow, unreachable, or returns anything other than a clean acceptance, the call is declined and it goes elsewhere. That is a feature, not a failure mode: a system that cannot answer in time should not be receiving calls.

Is wholesale right for you?

You should ask about wholesale ifStay on a standard account if
You already run a routing or CRM system that owns your call decisionsYou want to buy calls without building anything
You have an engineer who can run an HTTPS endpoint that replies in under three secondsYou do not have someone to maintain an integration
Your capacity changes minute to minute and static caps do not describe itAvailability toggles and a daily limit describe your day accurately
You are buying enough volume for assigned feeds and terms billing to matterYou are a solo agent or a small team getting started

How to apply

  1. 01Submit the wholesale applicationTell us about your business, your volume, and the systems you already run.
  2. 02ReviewCallmart reviews the application. Approval is not automatic, and applying does not enable delivery.
  3. 03Feeds and pricing are configuredIf you are approved, an administrator assigns your feeds and sets your price book and billing arrangement.
  4. 04Stand up your ping endpointBuild and test the endpoint, then enable buyer ping settings in your workspace. Test traffic is flagged so you can tell it apart.
  5. 05Go liveStart with a narrow set of feeds and a conservative accept rule, then widen once you trust your own responses.

Common questions

01Can I sign up for a wholesale account directly?

No. You submit a wholesale application and Callmart reviews it. Wholesale pricing, assigned feeds, and billing on terms are set per account by an administrator. A standard buyer account is available without that review.

02Do I have to use the ping if I am a wholesale buyer?

No. Buyer ping is per account and only applies once you enable a configuration. A buyer with no enabled ping configuration is simply accepted immediately, using their normal buying settings.

03What happens if my ping endpoint goes down?

Calls are declined. An unreachable host, a timeout, invalid JSON, or a mismatched request ID all count as a denial, and the call is offered elsewhere. You do not get charged for calls you never received, but you also do not receive them, so monitor the endpoint.

04Do wholesale buyers see where calls come from?

Wholesale buyers see the call type and the duration. Publisher identities and source names are confidential on both sides of the marketplace and are never disclosed to buyers.
