EVERQUOTE VS QUOTEWIZARD

EverQuote vs QuoteWizard for agents

Two large lead marketplaces for agents, compared on what they sell, how widely a lead is shared, how billing and returns work, and which kind of agency each suits.

Published by Callmart. Updated .

Short answer

EverQuote and QuoteWizard both sell real-time shared leads and live calls to agents on pay-as-you-go accounts, and neither publishes prices. EverQuote shares each lead with at most three agents and its agent pages lean auto and home. QuoteWizard shares with up to four but covers more lines, including health, Medicare and final expense. Choose by line first.

What is the difference between EverQuote and QuoteWizard?

The main differences are line coverage and how widely a lead is shared. EverQuote Pro, the agent business of Nasdaq-listed EverQuote, splits each shared real-time lead among no more than three agents (never two from the same carrier), charges more for exclusive leads, and also sells inbound calls placed by shoppers plus warm transfers; its products page names auto and home as the lines for leads and calls. QuoteWizard, whose consumer site carries a LendingTree, LLC copyright, sells real-time internet leads to a maximum of four agents and under two on average, plus WizardCalls live transfers, across auto, home, renters, life, health and Medicare, with exclusive access to life and final expense leads. Neither company publishes a price per lead. Both bill on a pay-as-you-go balance funded by card, and both let you filter by territory and cap volume. If your book is auto and home, both apply; EverQuote has the lower cap on sharing (three agents) and QuoteWizard reports the lower average (under two). If you also sell life, final expense or health, QuoteWizard covers more of it.

Both describe their reach in big numbers. EverQuote's Pro page cites more than 2 million monthly online shoppers and more than 15 years in business. QuoteWizard's agent page cites more than 27,000 web leads per day on average and says it has worked with carriers since 2006. Those are company statements about audience and volume, not measures of how a lead performs for you, so judge each one on your own cost per sale.

How does EverQuote price leads and calls?

EverQuote does not post a rate card. Its FAQ ties the price to the product, naming auto, home, life and warm transfer, and routes pricing questions to its sales team. Larger agencies can join the Accelerated Growth Program, which is priced to the agency's ROI and growth targets. What EverQuote does publish is how the account runs:

  • Funding: a data lead account is recharged once the balance drops to $25, and a call account once it drops to $100.
  • Commitment: none in time or money, per its FAQ. Cancel when you like and the unused balance comes back, except a first deposit that earned a match credit, which is non-refundable.
  • Targeting: filters by ZIP code, risk profile, hour and weekday, with a cap on leads per day. Enhanced Targeting lets you pay more for attributes such as driver age or small business ownership.
  • Exclusivity: exclusive leads carry a higher price, and an account that buys them must also take shared leads.
  • Returns: allowed for 30 days from purchase, up to one in five of the leads you bought that month.

EverQuote also sells done-for-you help. Its Lead Connection service has an outreach team contact your leads and follow up by phone and email, and every lead or call includes its Pro lead management platform at no extra cost. Its Pro page says it never sells recycled or aged leads.

How does QuoteWizard price leads and live transfers?

QuoteWizard does not publish prices either. Its FAQ says the lead price is the price of the lead plus the cost of any filters applied, and a territory representative builds a plan for you. Its leads page adds that prices reflect carrier discounts, risk category, product type and current promotional offers.

  • Pay as you go: your card is charged a set amount you choose at sign-up and recharged when the balance falls below the cost of one lead.
  • Sharing: each lead goes to at most four agents, under two on average.
  • Controls: volume caps, territory restrictions and pre-set filters such as multi-car, owns home or no accidents, all editable in its platform.
  • Credits: leads that fit its Lead Credit Reason policy can be submitted for credit online.
  • Delivery: its admin tool and email, plus integrations it names with CRMs and dialers such as AgencyZoom, Convoso, PhoneBurner, VanillaSoft and Velocify.

WizardCalls, its live transfer product, is described for home and auto. A US-based call center collects and verifies the shopper's information before the transfer, you set a filter package, territory and daily availability schedule, and daily call and concurrency caps control volume. If you miss a call, QuoteWizard says it notifies you and sends the consumer's information. The page calls WizardCalls an exclusive lead product, with one agent per call, but does not state transfer prices or return terms.

What are EverQuote's and QuoteWizard's strengths and tradeoffs?

  • Its products page lists auto and home only; health and Medicare were not mentioned on the agent pages reviewed.

Tradeoffs
  • A lead can go to as many as four agents.

Who should choose EverQuote?

Choose EverQuote if you write mostly auto and home, want a hard cap of three agents, one per carrier, on each shared lead, and like knowing the billing rules up front: recharge thresholds, no minimum spend and a 30 day return window. It also fits agents who want calls and warm transfers next to their leads, and larger agencies interested in a managed program with an assigned consultant. The Callmart vs EverQuote page compares it with a calls-only option.

Who should choose QuoteWizard?

Choose QuoteWizard if you sell across more lines, especially renters, health, Medicare, life or final expense alongside auto and home, and want one vendor for all of them. It suits agencies that already run a CRM or dialer it integrates with, and teams that want live transfers with call and concurrency caps they set themselves. Go in accepting that a lead may reach as many as four agents. See Callmart vs QuoteWizard for a calls-focused view.

Where does Callmart fit?

Callmart is a different kind of product from both. Instead of leads, it delivers phone calls, and it posts a retail price for each one: Final Expense in three formats (digital, TV and live transfers) plus Medicare Advantage, with the lowest tier at $25 as of November 2, 2026. Every price carries a connected-time buffer, and a caller who drops off before it is not billed. Agencies and volume buyers can apply for wholesale rates below retail. Callmart's calls are not exclusive.

Common questions

01Is EverQuote or QuoteWizard better for agents?

Neither is better for everyone. EverQuote caps shared leads at three agents, one per carrier, and publishes detailed billing and return terms; its agent pages focus on auto and home. QuoteWizard covers more lines, including health, Medicare, life and final expense; it caps a lead at four agents and says the average is under two. Your lines decide most of it.

02How much are QuoteWizard leads?

QuoteWizard does not publish prices as of November 2, 2026. Its FAQ says the price is the lead price plus the cost of any filters, and its leads page says prices depend on carrier discounts, risk category, product type and current promotions. A territory representative quotes a plan.

03How much does EverQuote charge per lead?

There is no per-lead figure on its site; the FAQ says the price depends on the product and comes from its sales team. The account rules are public, though: a prepaid balance that refills at a $25 floor for data leads or $100 for calls, no minimum term or spend, and unused funds returned if you cancel, apart from a matched first deposit.

04Who owns QuoteWizard?

QuoteWizard's consumer site footer carries a LendingTree, LLC copyright and describes LendingTree, LLC as a marketing lead generator. Its agent site, agents.quotewizard.com, is where agents sign up for leads and WizardCalls live transfers.

05Do EverQuote and QuoteWizard sell live transfers?

Yes. EverQuote sells inbound calls that shoppers place themselves, plus warm transfers, and its FAQ gives you 120 seconds on a warm transfer to keep it or reject it without paying. QuoteWizard sells WizardCalls, transfers verified by its US-based call center and described for home and auto. Neither publishes transfer prices.
